PRegistry procedure

How a filing proceeds.

Step-by-step guides for registering AI systems, running conformity assessments, generating technical documentation, and maintaining ongoing compliance under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

QGetting started

Six steps to a compliant record

Follow these six steps to bring your AI systems into compliance with the EU AI Act. Each step maps to specific regulatory articles.

01

Register your AI systems

Article 26

Create an inventory entry for each AI system your organization deploys. Include the system's intended purpose, domain of use, and the entity responsible (provider or deployer) per Article 26.

Treda > Systems > Add New AI System
02

Classify risk level

Articles 6–7

Complete the guided classification questionnaire. The system evaluates your AI system's intended purpose against Article 6(1) general-purpose criteria and Article 6(2) Annex III high-risk categories.

Treda > Systems > [System] > Risk Classification
03

Complete conformity assessment

Article 43

For high-risk systems, follow the Annex III conformity assessment checklist. This covers risk management (Article 9), data governance (Article 10), technical documentation (Article 11), and more.

Treda > Systems > [System] > Conformity Assessment
04

Generate technical documentation

Annex IV

Use the documentation generator to create Annex IV-compliant technical documentation. The system auto-populates fields from your system registry, test results, and risk management records.

Treda > Systems > [System] > Documentation > Generate
05

Apply CE marking

Articles 47–48

Once conformity assessment is complete, generate the EU Declaration of Conformity (Article 47) and affix the CE marking to your AI system. The declaration includes your notified body details if applicable.

Treda > Systems > [System] > CE Marking
06

Set up continuous monitoring

Articles 62, 72

Configure post-market monitoring per Article 72. Set up drift detection, performance alerting, and incident reporting triggers. The system automatically escalates serious incidents per Article 62.
